The car is also equipped with a DCT transmission and an engine start/stop button to provide a relaxing driving experience for the silver medalist. The MG Hector SUV launched an updated version in the country on February 11 this year. Its features include a touch-screen infotainment system with i-Smart. In addition to English, it also supports Hinglish voice commands. This allows the occupant to command the car system to perform functions such as opening the sunroof, adjusting the temperature, and setting navigation.

Hector in 2021 will also be equipped with more luxurious ventilated seats with extra cushioning and support. In terms of machinery, SUVs are powered by three different powertrain options-gasoline, gasoline hybrid and diesel. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed DCT transmission. In addition, the new Hector is equipped with a CVT in addition to the two existing options.
